My how time flies!

My how time flies when your having fun with 3 kids! Jaden has officially started preschool and is really loving every minute of it! He proudly announced when he got home today  l,that a fireman is coming to his school next week so he can't wait until Tuesday!  He got his first pair of biking gloves because he rides like daddy now (no training wheels!)  He loves to play with his friend abby who lives at the end of the court and walks her home when they are done playing or when she gets off the bus (she's 5).  Its so sad to me and micah now that he has made his own friend and sometimes would rather just play with her instead of one of us! They grow up so fast! Speaking of growing up, Myla is officially a one year old and loves to jibber-jabber all of the time and say "Hi" to everyone we come across! She's so very sensitive and wants to be held all of the time! She will take about six steps but starts to laugh so hard she falls. She loves her big brother, especially when they wrestle together and is beginning to take care of her little brother, including giving him goldfish crackers yesterday! Ben is 12 weeks old today and most of his breathing issues, thank God, have worked themselves out. He is very sweet and smiles all of the time! He also loves to be held, which is fun trying to juggle two at once! He is sleeping mostly through the night and is still looking just like Jaden. In fact, I got out Jaden's two month pictures and people thought that I had Ben's picture taken!  Life is extremely busy but we are getting the hang of it (at least until they all start crying at once!)    Pretty much we just feel so extremely blessed that we have three healthy kids who bring so much joy to our lives! Hope you are all doing well and get to live in a place (or at least visit) where the leaves are changing and the beauty of fall is among you!

IT'S A BOY!!!!

It's A Boy!!  The Wilson Family is very happy to announce the arrival of Benjamin Michael Wilson on July 24th, 2008. Ben came into the world at 7:03pm, weighing in a 6 lbs. 2 ounces and 20 inches long. He may be a skinny little guy, but he's got giant hands and feet, just like his brother. In fact, he looks exactly like Jaden!  Speaking of brothers, Big brother Jaden is so excited to have a new brother and is busy "taking care" of everyone all day long! Especially his sister Myla who is very curious about the new little person in the house, but surely has no clue what she just gained! The rest of us do though, and we feel so blessed to add Ben to our lives. Life is crazy, but not too crazy that we all don't have time to sit and stare a little at this miracle!
Labor went well. I was induced the night before (wednesday), they were FINALLY able to break my water at 3:3opm on Thursday, I went from 1 to 4 cm dialated by 4pm and 90 percent effaced. I was pushing by 6:30, with no epidural as it had worn off from earlier in the day (an experience I'd be glad to share but I'm sure not all want to hear it!), and Ben was born at 7:03pm. He came out healthy and in my arms from the moment he was born. It was so thrilling to hear all call out that it was a boy!!!  Definately worth the wait!
Enjoy the pictures and we hope to see everyone soon!  Love to you all!!!!!

New Pictures!

Here are some new pictures. Some are from Father's Day, others are from what we do everyday...hang-out!  We are enjoying this summer; going to the pool, splash parks, summer concerts, the Dr. every week for Myla's on-going ear infections, and awaiting baby number 3 (which I am so ready to be here!)  I'm 33 weeks now and will have another ultra sound today because my uterus has measured two weeks behind for about 4 weeks now. I'm sure nothing to be concerned about but we will be relieved when we know everything is ok!  Hope everyone is great, enjoy the pics!  Love to you all!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the special mother's in my life! It is a blessing to raise my own children with the love, support and encouragement from each of you!  I thought today would be appropriate to post the pictures of our latest ultra sound last Thursday. The baby looks great, weighing in already at 2lbs. 7oz.   In a few of the 3D pictures they took, him or her looks almost identical to our little Jaden the day he was born. We become more and more excited everyday for this little miracle to arrive and welcome him or her into our family!  On this Mother's Day, I can't help but look back to last year as I celebrated with my amazing son but longed for another baby. I pray for, today, all of the women that I know, and those I don't that are struggling with infertility or waiting for their match as they endure the adoption process.  God has blessed me richly this year as I watch Myla in her crib sleeping right now, and I am struck at what a difficult day this must be for her birthmom. Please hold her, Michelle, in your prayers today as well. I know now, in my life, just what a miracle each baby is to your family, no matter how they came to be apart of it. Again, Happy Mother's Day to the most amazing women I know!  I love each of you dearly and thank my God on your behalf today!

The first three pictures are of Jaden and Myla swinging at the park and with Micah. The fourth picture is Jaden in his swim class. He's doing a great job learning how to swim. He and Micah go on Monday nights for their "boy's night out". They go to swim and then out to dinner together. Jaden loves the special time with his Daddy!  The last picture is Jaden and me doing some raccoon watching in the backyard. Momma raccoon decided to bring her babies to this tree and Jaden left his paci's for them. Well, only two paci's, not all of them yet. He did go back and leave another the next day after Mommy raccoon left him a note telling him how sweet and kind he was to leave two for her babies!  Hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to the weekend!  I know we are!!!! :)

Time Flies!

Well, I'm not keeping up as well as I said I would but time flies in this house! Jaden has been extremely attached to my hip lately. All he wants is me and won't leave the house unless I come. (something I will remind him of continually when he reaches 18) Really, we think he's just a little unsure of all of the changes going on.  We've been spending most of our time outside now that the weather is nice and have enjoyed a few picnics at the parks. We put Myla in the swing for the first time and I don't believe I've ever seen such pure joy in a child. I will forever remember the giggle and thrill coming from her. She could have sat there all day!
Baby number 3 seems to be doing well as of my Dr.'s appointment last Thursday. I'm 26 weeks and feel like this baby must be a boy because he, or she, never stops moving! Yes, another busy Wilson baby is on the way I have a feeling.  We have another ultra sound on May 8th to check my fluid (because I had low fluid with Jaden) and check the size of the cyst on my left ovary.
Hope this entry finds everyone doing well and enjoying the spring flowers and trees beginning to turn green. I love this season because of the new life it brings all around us! It reminds me to love my husband, love my children and everyone around me for the season they are in because they change so quickly.
